Breaking: massive attack on Blair

Senior ministers call for him to step down, calling him “deluded” and “self-indulgent.”

This is his own party doing this. Ah, that we had a parliamentary system here…

Tony Blair will be served notice to quit Downing Street at a meeting of the Cabinet next week when senior ministers plan to confront him over his refusal to commit to a departure timetable.

Sadly, the “departure timetable” referred to is the timetable for Blair’s departure from the Prime Ministership, not the departure of British troops from Iraq or Afghanistan.
