JonBenet been the top story for days now. It says something sick about news media management that they, for the most part, permit and encourage a minor story like this to eclipse coverage of wars and possible wars. But of course stories like this are cheap and easy to cover, as well as being “non-controversial” – except for those of us who want actual news.
Can’t earn 20% on the news. Just can’t; nobody’s that interested. Has to be infotainment. Look at the drek that passes for news on cable channels. 500 channels and pure sewage flowing through all of them…
