Whew

Helping get all the videos online in the aftermath of the LAPD clubbing protestors on Saturday at the anti-Minutemen counter-demo has taken considerable time, not to mention preparing for the press conference.

The video was shown on at least two LA TV stations last night. It’s been viewed almost 1,200 times on YouTube (in 26 hours.)

We now resume our regular blogging schedule!

I notice that, at least via searching online, there wasn’t ANY coverage yet (maybe tomorrow?) of the incident in the L.A. Times.

Does the YouTube number cited above count viewings on other sites like this one, or only “direct” viewings on the YouTube site itself?

I think a YouTube linked to from anywhere else will count, because it is downloaded from their servers.

The count is now 1345 viewings. The file is nearly 100 mb, this could have been costly to host elsewhere. YouTube is a great service, no ads yet, not sure how they pay the server bills.

The LA Times was not at the press conference.
