Any money they’ve managed to hold onto will vaporize in the coming onslaught of civil lawsuits. Money they tried to shelter in irrevocable trusts can be seized by the government if they can prove the money was obtained fraudulently.
In the words of an old J. Geils song
“Serve you right to suffer/ serve you right/ You gonna live a long time.”
