Time for prison reform?
Bob Morris @ May 15th 2006 08:41 - Category: Unfiled
The noose is tightening around Bob Ney. No matter what he says publicly, the Republican congressman from Ohio’s 18th District shouldn’t be making any long term plans now that his former chief of staff has pleaded guilty to corruption charges.
I’m guessing more than a few members of Congress might suddenly have gotten quite interested in prison reform. No time like the present to reform our harsh, vindictive prison system, eh? Especially when they might be going to one.
