Blogger activists

The Blue Voice Dave and I at Student MarchThat’s Dave Buccola of the excellent The Blue Voice blog on the right and me on the left. We finally got to met yesterday at the demo after emailing back and forth for a while. Check out his report and be sure to read the blog, its a collaborative effort, and just got “featured blog” status at The Daou Report.

Blogging can be an important way of organizing and doing outreach. However it can’t substitute for getting on the streets and talking to people one-on-one. Blogging about a demo will never fully explain the feeling of what it’s like to be there, seeing there are thousands of others who share your views and are working towards the same goals.

See you at the next demo, Dave!
