The Bush administration is facing new charges over its handling of pre-war intelligence, with a book alleging that the CIA ignored a mass of evidence gleaned from Iraqi weapons scientists, months before the 2003 invasion, that Saddam Hussein had abandoned his WMD programmes.

This is such a huge story that’s getting so little coverage.
It’s like there has been a temporary agreement among all the parties concerned that this line of argument has somehow been “settled,” and that unless there are some new totally over the top revelations, this is just old news.
