If your computer runs Windows, read our previous post about the major new Windows vulnerability.
Nasty code can be downloaded onto your PC by simply viewing an image on a website. It affects all browsers in Windows. Current anti-virus and anti-spyware programs probably won’t stop it.
There is an unofficial patch that will work until Microsoft releases the official patch.
Again, read our previous post. Hardened security experts are saying ‘take no chances’ with this one.
