Members of Congress are tripping over each other to divest themselves of money they got from Abramoff.
Baucus will return Abramoff donationsA second senator involved in the congressional investigation of indicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff is giving away campaign donations connected to the lobbyist.
Montana Sen. Max Baucus, ranking Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee, is donating $18,892 he once got from Abramoff’s clients and associates to seven tribal colleges in his state.
Still unanswered is, what did Abramoff get for all that money he was throwing around?

WHat Jack got for all the money he’s been throwing around is unanswered? I’d say it’s been amply answered if you look for gambling rights for Indians (and the suppression of gambling for Indians who haven’t hired Jack) and free enterprise zones in the North Marianas, etc.
