Second black body builder says…

Second black body builder says Schwarzenegger made racist comments

Another black bodybuilder has come forward claiming that California gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger has a history of making racist comments.

Robby Robinson, one of the most respected and well known of all body builders [a former Mr. America, Mr. World and Mr. Universe titleholder], backs up claims made by fellow black bodybuilder Rick Wayne.

Robinson says that Schwarzenegger repeatedly directed the term “nigger” at him.

Known throughout his career as “The Black Prince,” Robinson continues:

“In San Jose at the Russ Warner Classic, as it was called in those days, there was a scene. 7 or 8 of us bodybuilders were invited to guest pose at the show. We were all paid $650.00 to do our thing.

“After the show there was a big banquet. We were all dancing having a nice time and in walks Arnold who started shouting out, ‘Down with the blacks, niggers this and blacks that,’ for about 10 min.

Bush says nothing new in…

Bush says nothing new in Iraq speech

In abandoning his go-it-alone approach, however, the president did not give significant ground to allies who had opposed him at the time of the war and who want reassurances about greater political and economic influence in Iraq if they participate. His call for United Nations involvement was stated in declarative, not conciliatory, language. Members of the United Nations, he said, have “the responsibility” to help, he said.

Yawn. Same old same old. No apologies. No acceptance of responsibility. Wants everyone else to clean up the mess he made. Doesn’t work well with others.

Vote No War sums up my views in their email newsletter

President Bush’s illegal war and occupation of Iraq has left the Administration in a position of extreme political vulnerability. He now wants the United Nations and U.S. taxpayers to bail him out. Having defied U.S. and world public opinion - which preemptively opposed his planned, illegal invasion of Iraq - the Bush administration wants to internationalize responsibility for the U.S. quagmire in Iraq.

Tonight’s nationally televised address conforms to this pattern of endless deceit.

1) Bush lied before the war. Iraq never posed a grave and imminent danger to the United States.

2) Bush lied during the war. This was not liberation. The Iraqi people did not welcome the U.S. armed forces as liberators but as occupiers.

3) Bush is lying now. Iraq is not the battlefield between “international terrorism” and the forces of so-called “freedom” and “civilization.”

Join us in DC on October 25 for a Mass March on the Pentagon and DC.

From the Oct. 25 unity statement from International ANSWER & United for Justice and Peace, who are joining forces on this.

Act Now to Stop War & End Racism (ANSWER) and United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ), are joining forces to call on all those who oppose the war, invasion and occupation of Iraq, to unite on Saturday, October 25 in Washington, D.C., for a truly massive outpouring reflecting the growing popular opposition to the Bush Administration’s foreign and domestic program.

Davis slurs Schwarzenegger

Davis slurs Schwarzenegger

From Political Wire

California Gov. Gray Davis “took a dig at” Arnold Schwarzenegger, “telling one potential voter at a campaign stop that ‘you shouldn’t be governor unless you can pronounce the name of the state,’” Fox News reports. “And the Schwarzenegger campaign wants a formal apology.”

California Insider is flabbergasted: “If everything Davis had done, or not done, in the past five years had not already qualified him to be recalled, this alone might do so. It’s disgusting. It’s hateful. And it totally undermines any claim Davis has to the moral high ground.”

I completely agree. Gray Davis, one more time, shows himself to be a repugnant sleaze, capable of raising large sums of barely legal money, campaigning in the gutter, and little else.

The California populace is in the mood to slap politicians around. Gray Davis is a well-deserving target.

Hamas attack `opens gates of hell’

Hamas leaders are “marked for death” and won’t have a moment’s rest, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon warned yesterday after Israel botched an attempt to kill the top Hamas echelon with a 250kg bomb dropped on a Gaza City apartment.

Hamas threatened unprecedented revenge, saying Israel had “opened the gates of hell” with the attack on its revered founder, Sheik Ahmed Yassin, who escaped with a minor injury.

Israel trades death threats with Hamas

I don’t ever recall it getting this heated before…

Your Arnold moment

Your Arnold moment

Arnold is all over the map with this gay stuff. In the interview, he says men shouldn’t feel like fags, his word, just because they want to have nice looking bodies. He said, ‘I have no hang-ups about the fag business.’ Boy, how about that, a guy who will stand up for gays while calling them fags. I think we have finally found the compassionate conservative.” —Bill Maher
