The probable next Pope

Cardinal Ratzinger made sure the world (and other cardinals) understand the sinister forces afoot that presumably make him the best choice for Pope. The Cardinals take a vow of media silence once the conclave starts. Note how Ratzinger got his message out of the last possible moment so a counter message would not be possible.

“A dictatorship of relativism is being built that recognizes nothing as definite,” the cardinal said, “and which leaves as the ultimate measure only one’s ego and desires.”

Then I guess he must reject the Theory of Relativity too. Funny, I find no evidence that belief in Relativity(a theory backed by hard scientific fact) makes one an egomaniac. But Ratzinger is a true believer, and like any zealot, is completely satisfied he knows all the answers.

For 25 years, Cardinal Ratzinger served as John Paul’s theological right hand – and watchdog – as prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

AKA The Inquisition. (Seriously.)

Meanwhile, back in the real world.

SNAP demands that priest face charges in U.S.

Sexual abuse victims knocked on the door of a religious order near St. Peter’s Square on Friday seeking a priest who is wanted in the United States in connection with allegations that he molested minors.

The RICO Campaign for Survivor Justice Petition

Because justice for sexual abuse survivors of Roman Catholic priests and bishops will not come from within the Roman Catholic Church, The RICO Campaign for Survivor Justice Petition is underway.

The goal of this petition is to demand that the Federal Government begin a RICO investigation of the Roman Catholic Church in the United States.
