The Los Angeles Greens will be marching again tomorrow in the 28th Annual Doo Dah Parade in Pasadena. This zany parody of Rose Bowl Parade draws hundreds of thousands of spectators and is seen by millions worldwide.

Our Green Party theme is “POST PARTISAN DEPRESSION” We want to connect with deep feelings that are out there NOW. It’s pervasive.
We are acknowledging both the election and the heavy mood with a doodah touch. People might need a bit of a break from more messages–we’ve been messaged so much. That the Greens make an emotional and humor-filled connection with the crowd seems very important this year.
I’ll be there taking photos…! (And in Green fashion, will take the subway to get there!)
