The Kerry campaign
A well-placed Democrat tells me the Kerry campaign is (finally) getting smart and getting tough. When Kerry recently attacked Bush on the war, the Bush campaign rolled out an ad they’d made months ago and had been saving. It showed Kerry wind-surfing, implying his views change with the wind.
Here’s the difference. The Dems had their response to that ad on the air in a mere 4 hours. That is beyond Rapid Response.
