Sen Ted Kennedy complains about being on anti-terror ‘No Fly’ list
One of the best-known U.S. senators says he has been misidentified as someone on a terrorism watch list at airports in recent months.
Democratic Senator Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts told the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday that the problem started in March.
The Washington Post quotes a high-ranking administration official as saying the name “T. Kennedy” has been used as an alias by someone on the list of terrorists. The senator is commonly known as “Ted” Kennedy.
Golly, there’s probably only tens of thousands people named “T. Kennedy.” So, instead of doing actual detective work, they just put everyone with that name on the list. What a bunch of dimbulbs. Do you feel safer now?
