Things to Do In LA, and more!
LAOkay (Things To Do In Los Angeles ) has just expanded, and now has a whopping 16,000 listings of things to do and places to eat in Los Angeles, as well as a huge architecture and history section with over 900 photos, plus reference, recreation, and lots more. And, it also covers the counties of Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, and Santa Barbara.
There is a vast amount of intelligently organized information here. Check it out! The site, started as a hobby by Don Allred, a friend and fellow Visual FoxPro programmer, now gets thousands of hits a day. I’m helping Don with advertising now so – shameless plug – if you have a business or enterprise (it doesn’t have to be on the web) and want to reach thousands of Angelenos every day at a low cost, let me know.
Don has two other excellent websites.
Allred Roster is an ever-growing genealogy site with over 150,000 entries.
