Ancedotal evidence people are not crossing grocery picket lines
I shop at a farmers market every Sunday in Encino, CA for fruit and veggies. It’s usually quite busy, however yesterday, by the time I got there at 11 am, many vendors had mostly empty tables. This has never happened before and must be due to the grocery strike.
Also, a clerk at Trader Joe’s, a small competing chain, told me their business has been absolute nonstop since the strike began.
