Talk about a coverup…
A friend emails;
“I waited to send this until I saw a second reference; it is just too surreal.
Someone at the UN authorized the “Guernica” tapestry (the original painting is now back in non-fascist Spain) covered by a blue banner and a row of flags.
So, when Herr Powell comes to the UN to justify the US bombing of innocents, children, and animals, there won’t be a painting of the bombing of innocents, children, and animals behind him.
A spokesperson for the UN said it was simply an artistic choice; individuals look better photographed against a blue curtain and a row of flags than in front of “…the backside of a rearing horse.”
Or, a horse’s ass in front of a painting of a horse’s ass.”
