Antiwar demonstrations in S.F. and L.A. growing
It was only a few months ago that anti-war demonstrations were getting maybe a few hundred people. Now it’s a few thousand, as witness the demos on Saturday in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
There will be major nationwide demonstrations October 6th, called by many groups, with Not In Our Name being the umbrella group.
I’ve spoken to not a few pople who are scared by the direction D.C. is taking but who are afraid to express their views, fearful of being tracked or something. All I can say is – if not now, then when?
