TGMY converted the already stunning Mitsuoka Himiko to full electric. The banks of lithium polymer batteries give it a claimed range of 341 miles, far more than any other EV.
It is the fastest electric car in Europe, 0-60 in 3 seconds, the quarter mile in 11.24.
It’s a mere 3.6 feet wide, seats three, and has tilting wheels. I want one.
Japanese scientists have invented a lithium-air battery with mega-capacity. Drivers will be able to swap out part of the battery quickly and be driving again without waiting to recharge.
It has a range of 200 miles and can go over 100 mph. However, this is still an experimental car, the batteries are quite expensive and recharging requires huge amounts of power. Let’s hope that changes as their research continues.
