ANSWER Coalition activist Preston Wood attended the international Muslims-Christian Solidarity Conference in Mindanao, Philippines in August. The conference was called to support the democratic movement in Mindanao, self-determination by those under attack by the US and Philippine government, and to combat current vicious anti-Muslim racism both in the Philippines and worldwide.
This is his reportback. As in other countries, several thousand US military “advisers” are on the ground aiding in attacks against inhabitants while their government continues to destroy local business while allowing mega-corporations in.
