But I’m not sure whether he was done in by the right or the left or both. Anyone know? None of the news stories I’ve read explain the internal machinations.

Liberal talk radio network starts March 31!
Hosts include Al Franken, Chuck D. of Public Enemy, and Janeane Garofalo, who will have daily shows.
Mr. Franken said that he had called his show “The O’Franken Factor” with the hope that it would “annoy and bait” Bill O’Reilly.
Works for me!
The stations are “WLIB (am 1190) in NYC, WNTD (am 950) in Chicago and KBLA (am 1580) in LA plus a station in SF to be named before launch”
