Mass worldwide antiwar rallies this weekend.
April 12-13 will be another weekend of massive peace marches across the globe. Called by the London antiwar groups, the call has been picked up by hundreds of cities.
The rally in L.A is Sunday, Apr 13, noon. Assemble Hollywood & Vine. March down Hollywood to La Brea, for a rally.

Guess what the mystery object is!
a) Some kind of weird modernist painting.
b) an installation by an obscure, edgy group of performance artists.
c) the result of a truck carrying white paint colliding with a truck carrying blue paint.
d) Just tell me what it is, ok?
Ok, this photo is titled “Julian, the death of a tent”, as chronicled by friends who went car camping last weekend in the Mohave desert near Juilan, CA, and got whacked by high winds and hail. They survived fine, the tent did not. I find the photo to be oddly peaceful and abstract.
