Carter takes out Nobel Peace Prize.
ABC Online - Former US president Jimmy Carter has won the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize, in a move intended as a criticism of current President George W. Bush’s stance on Iraq.
Nobel committee chairman Gunnar Berge says honouring Mr Carter “can also be interpreted as a criticism of the position” of the current US administration.
