Rules for Radicals. Ridicule is mans most potent weapon

The fifth rule: Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage — Saul Alinsky

Trump is a perfect target for this because he’s so thin-skinned. Attacks and criticism make him crazy and he reacts with sometimes nearly incoherent tweet storms. I can’t recall any previous president-elect who went on a rant against a local union leader. Such targets are generally considered beneath a president to attack and instead are delegated to others to do. But Trump can’t do that. Criticism makes him so unhinged it’s almost comical.

Imagine if such attacks were constant, coordinated, and done deliberately to provoke him. He might  become completely unbalanced as the whole world watched, greatly lessening his power and effectiveness, especially if he did something stupid in response.
