My wife Sue just completed pre-op examinations and is cleared for her second cornea transplant on May 21!
The first cornea transplant was done last year and that eye went from 20-400 and cloudy to 20-40 and clear. Yeah, it’s miraculous. Even more amazing, it’s an out patient procedure. (Sue has Fuchs’ Dystrophy, without transplants she would eventually be near-blind. Recovery time is 2-3 weeks.)
