Stratasys has applied for chocolate 3D printing patents. Hopefully soon we’ll be able to 3D print fanciful chocolate designs. Imagine strands of different chocolate, like the above, interwoven into patterns that only a 3D printer can make.
This won’t just be happening just with chocolate either.
The significant thing is that BOTH of the major 3D printing companies are now actively exploring 3D printed food. This means there’s a high probability that we will eventually see 3D food printers of some type at an unknown point in the future.
