Dumpster diving in the East Village
This is what downtown Manhattan three days after Hurricane Sandy has come to: with no power, dwindling gas, and nowhere to go, people are lining up at dumpsters to find food for themselves and their families.
Duracell rolls out trucks with charging stations, batteries, and internet access. Time Warner is doing the same, their trucks have charging stations and free wifi.
And credit where credit is due, Goldman Sachs is providing charging stations and water for anyone who needs it
REMINDER: to BPC residents, GS & the Conrad still have charging stations & water at corner of Vesey & North End Ave twitter.com/GoldmanSachs/s”¦
