Gov. Christie has pointblank blasted local officials, most especially the Mayor of Atlantic City who told people to ignore warnings to evacuate, saying they are on their own because it’s too dangerous to send in help to rescue them now. He added that the evacuation center the mayor championed is one block from the ocean and is now flooded.
