Friendly fire killed Border Agent Nicholas Ivie

Three Border Patrol agents, including Nicholas Ivie, were investigating a tripped sensor in the no man’s land in Arizona near the Mexico border when something went horribly wrong.

His death was “the result of an accidental shooting incident involving only agents,” said the FBI.

It happened at 2 AM in the desert where there are no lights. Apparently Ivie and the other two agents, who came in from a different vantage point, started firing at each other.
