  1. I am all for if you have a criminal record (felony, not misdemeanor) or have been hospitalized for mental reasons (in the past 10 years) or are currently on any sort of medication for your mental condition you should not be allowed to own a gun. Everybody else should be allowed to own a gun and I believe in restrictions when and where you can take gun out into the public that are both federal law, state law, and private party restrictive (such as no guns at a public park, baseball game, Starbucks, the local bank, etc.). I would not support any sort of blanket gun ban for any state. Basically that tells criminals to take their guns when they commit a crime because the law abiding citizens shouldn’t be carrying one, which just makes them easier targets. I’d actually support state gun laws that are more similar to what Texas has. I wouldn’t mind carrying a gun around when I go out in public and actually would feel safer if most people did as well. Imagine if what happened with http://www.kfiam640.com/pages/NEWS.html?feed=421898&article=10287600 could have been avoided entirely or at least somebody could have taken the shooter down before so many people got killed and injured.

  3. This guys supports police abuse wholeheartedly, wants the police to even have the ability to rescind their mandate to protect citizens if the cops dont like the person, wants to regulate what adults eat and drink, so I think it’s a little telling that he wants gun control.

    • He wants more screening, that’s for sure. Me, I think if someone suddenly buys 6,000 rounds mail order from multiple online dealers, they should be checked out. Just like if they go to Phoenix and start buy 10 AKs a days (which is quite possible there.)
