Greece will be seizing money from suspected tax evader’s account then holding trials and putting the burden of proof upon the accused as well as demanding voluminous data on financial transactions from anyone vaguely associated with them.
Yes, there is huge tax evasion in Greece. But everyone who could transfer money out already has. Now the best and the brigheset will leave.
This move will without a doubt cause more than a few to worry about accusations, true or false, and in the case of the latter, the illegal confiscation of money.
