GSA. Possible bribery and kickbacks

The General Services Administration inspector general is investigating whether bribery and kickbacks have occured. Jeffrey McNeely, a GSA regional commissioner, has been placed on leave and pled the Fifth Amendment at a congressional hearing.

Maybe Neely’s wife shouldn’t have posted pictures of him in a hot tub with wine during one of several “pre-conference” meetings at an expensive Vegas hotel, the total cost of which was $130,000. The conference itself cost $820,000 and has been roundly criticized for being excessive.

The head of GSA has already resigned.

What a cesspool. Heck, maybe GSA and the Secret Service can pool their resources and have one heckuva party next time. I mean, is there anyone in DC even remotely ethical and honest?
