George Zimmermann trial will be Rodney King trial in reverse

Armed Neo-Nazis are patrolling Sanford, “prepared” for post-Trayvon Martin violence. The New Black Panther Party has offered a $10,000 bounty for a citizen’s arrest for George Zimmermann.

Meanwhile, National Review writer John Derbyshire just went gibbering into racist lunacy.

It won’t be long until somebody’s match finds the gasoline.

  1. There is no way anybody can legally arrest him, otherwise the police would have done so already. Change the state laws of Florida concerning “standing your ground” legislation and future incidents like this won’t go unpunished. I think Neo-Nazi’s running around with guns looking to kill somebody is just a bad idea period. I don’t care who they are looking to kill, but how long before they just kill anybody they feel like killing because they haven’t found Zimmermann? No doubt that match will find it’s gasoline.

  2. I think the match already found the gasoline, no?  As I recall someone is already dead because of this stupidity.

As for the arrest, I’m still confused as to why he hasn’t been.  When you have the (conservative) governor of the state, and most of those involved in drafting and voting on the legislation saying Zimmermann is not covered by it (because he admitted in the 911 tapes to following Martin), I’m confused as to why he’s still not charged.  From the sounds the DA is making, it’s a matter of a day or two until that’s going to finally happen anyway.
