Judging from my extensive social media research, liberals have totally forgiven Obama everything. I’d expected this would happen, but not until spring. They’re about two months ahead of schedule. I’ve already read three times this morning that “elections matter.” Is it some sort of memory disorder that makes this sort of quadrennial ritual seem fresh to them on each tedious iteration?
For too many liberals, war, torture, murder, indefinite detention, and no habeas corpus should only be opposed when Republicans order them.
But it is “spring” – fifty-two degrees on The High Desert yesterday, at four thousand feet in elevation and a crow’s flight from what were once prolific glaciers close enough to the forty-fifth parallel to call half-way to the North Pole. Just this morning I packed the long-johns away.
