His very first campaign ad tries to refute criticism about the Solynda loan guarantee without ever directly mentioning it. It’s the usual ominous political ad, darkly warning that shadowy evildoers are engaging in skulduggery while never directly stating any policy goals or new ideas.
I expect the Solyndra and gun-walking scandals will be major ongoing targets for the Republicans, and deservedly so. Both are stinky. Neither are going away nor will they be neutralized by a campaign ad or two.
