Yes, Cape Wind is probably dead. It would have been the first offshore wind farm in the US. But no more.
The department of the Interior and the FAA can blame themselves for this latest ruling. The FAA review was sloppy and the decision politically motivated. The court did the right thing. Let’s hope the FAA takes this ruling seriously and decides that air safety is its first priority.
