Don’t do Windows update on unplugged laptop!

My laptop was unplugged, at 63% charge. I did a Windows update, rebooted, and the laptop almost immediately went into save-and-sleep mode. The battery had been completely drained during the update. Yikes. It could have been disastrous if the battery died in the middle of the update. So, always plug in a laptop before doing a Windows update.
