“The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come.

For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it’s been an insanely great honor. I will miss Steve immensely.” — Bill Gates

I make a pretty good living fixing “Windows”, but when I go home at night, I go home to a MacIntosh.

My next laptop might be a Mac running Windows 8 in a virtual machine with VMware Fusion. And my iPhone is essential for my business, and everything else too.

I still do considerable work in Visual FoxPro, so I need Windows. Also, I’m hearing, even from Windows skeptics that Windows 8 is seriously good.

Windows Seven is probably the best product Micro$oft has offered, Eight should be interesting.

There are a lot of things Microsoft does well. For example, Expression Web is the equal to Dreamweaver or any other web development tool, and at a fraction of the cost.

I’ve heard Ballmer will retire after Windows 8 launches. I sure hope so. They need someone with that “vision” thing.
