California drops huge bomb on the banksters

On Friday, California, the nation’s number-one state for foreclosures, has pulled out of 50-state negotiations to reach a settlement over robosigning and other foreclosure related issues.

AG Kamala Harris said in the letter “It became clear to me that California was being asked for a broader release of claims than we can accept and to excuse conduct that has not been adequately investigated.”

  1. This is a reflection of the way official channels are routinely diverted by interest groups; under Miller’s “leadership,” the process has been a whitewash. Hopefully, Harris can team up with Schneiderman and other disgusted AGs to pursue a more effective track.
