Apparently the maid has lied repeatedly to investigators
According to the two law enforcement officials, the woman had a phone conversation with an incarcerated man within a day of her encounter with Mr. Strauss Kahn in which she discussed the possible benefits of pursuing the charges against him. The conversation was recorded.
Further, she has received over $100,000 in bank deposits from multiple sources over the past two years.
Significantly, investigators are not saying the assault didn’t happen.
“It is a mess, a mess on both sides,” the official said.
Bloomberg must take the fall for allowing his legal department to frame DSK.
The police seemed to be implying they thought DSK did it but that the woman was unreliable and would be demolished on the witness stand.
