Sue and I do cat rescue and fostering. Currently we are fostering two kittens that were found abandoned by a road. They were traumatized and starving when we got them. Now they are happy and playful, as well as best friends forever. They are totally bonded. After all they’ve been through Hell and have ended up in a happy place.
So have Michael Vicks’ dogs.
PS It appears our foster kittens may end up being part of our cat menagerie. They get on fine with our cats. It’s rough out there now for pets needing adoption. The economy has really impacted organizations doing rescue. They are overflowing with dogs and cats needing a home. Many of them are no-kill shelters.
