The TSA employees who check you aren’t the problem

During this upcoming Thanksgiving travel time (I’m flying too) it’s important to realize that TSA agents at the gate probably have zero leeway in what they can do. Screaming at them when the problem is the policies of TSA is like howling at the customer service rep at the phone company when they screwed up your bill. It’s not their fault.

If an TSA agent gets abusive, sure, make some noise. But maintaining a calm demeanor will probably be appreciated by them – and maybe even get you through faster.

Let’s just say I learned this the hard way back in my youth. Treat a cop like a human being, chances are he may do the same (which surely beats getting arrested.)
