The Green Party has come through a serious bad patch and may be poised to become a major third party force again. I was Co-coordinator of the Green Party of Los Angeles County from 2001-2002. It was an extremely dysfunctional time for the GP, now apparently over and ancient history. Good.
Their National Meeting in Detroit continues Sat.-Sun. The schedule is serious and comprehensive, with live streaming too.
I don’t know if I commented here about this yet, but did you see the latest poll for US Senate in Illinois? LeAlan Jones, the Green, got 14% support overall and 26% from African Americans (he’s the only black major candidate).
