Very nice, but how much do they cost?
The designers haven’t set a price yet — and they don’t want to tell how much the prototype cost, because that would be misleading.

The L41 is not available currently, and is seeking a manufacturer.
I imagine the cost will be around that of other modular modern homes, in the range of $120 (for the shell) to $195 (to build, exclusive of interior fittings) … so $250 / sq ft, plus land?

This would equal $55,000 for the home alone — not cheap.
We might be better off if somebody brought to market a modernized quonset hut.
