Thanks to SB1070, the rest of the nation recently learned what Arizona Democrats have long known: Extremist Republicans control our state government. But now there is momentum in Arizona and a unique chance to take back our state. The Arizona Democratic Party has launched a nationwide campaign – Arizona Fights Back (www.arizonafightsback.com) to send a strong message: Don’t boycott Arizona. Instead, help us change Arizona by electing Democrats.
Sign their petition online and get involved. As I’ve mentioned before, the Arizona Republic, the state’s largest newspaper, and the Mayor of Phoenix strongly oppose SB1070. They and everyone fighting this lunatic law deserve our support.
