The Massey mine where more than two dozen miners perished in the last two days was cited more than FIFTY times for safety violations last year. Actually, it racked up more like 450 violations, of which more than 50 were serious.
Well, if the work force at this doomed mine had been unionized, it could have –by contract– refused to have worked under what were blatantly unsafe conditions.
But that would be socialism, right?
I have only one question: Is anyone going to jail for this mass murder?
