  1. Pope accused of ignoring pleas to stop priest who molested 200 deaf boys

    He did more than ignore the pleas, he activly told the Bishop that was doing the investigation to close it down. That’s not ignoring something, that’s taking an active hand in covering it up. I saw this hit the wire last night and posted it around. This is direct complicity in the cover-up. Legally in the US there’s enough evedence to try him as an accomplice or at least a conspirator.

    Why are there not criminal charges pending against people for the cover-up? Simple, the statute of limitations are up. Personally, I think for some crimes there should be no statute of limitations, rape and murder are amoung them. This would clearly fall into the former of the two catagories.
