In my completely unscientific 1-minute study, at $3,000 less than a regular Prius, the monthly payment ($0 down, $0 trade-in, no tax, 7.19% interest, 5 years) would be around $60 per month less than a regular Prius.
MPGs are better on this Prius, but not drastically, so let’s assume a small $10 to $20 savings per month (MSU calculation, btw). It might be about a $80/month savings. Relatively not a lot of money, but considering it is a Prius with Corolla prices (w/ a couple options) does sound very good. Maybe enough to convince me? We’ll see
