The FDIC has issued deadlines for bidders on the assets of two large banks, Guaranty and Corus. The deadline for Guaranty is today, and the bank has said it can no longer continue as a going concern and that stockholders can expect to receive nothing. The deadline for Corus is Sept. 3. Most of their loans are in condos, including many in areas that once were real estate bubbles.
