Okay folks, very last post from me. There’s smoke everywhere, the fire is less than a mile away and I just got the news that it’s out of control. I’m OUT of here!
Firemen are staging an area on our road. They just came by to tell me that if I see a wall of flames, it’s too late to run (!), and to either run over to an open field, or inside the house. Uhhh…. don’t think I’ll wait THAT long before I leave!!
Shit. They just ordered a mandatory evacuation of Bonny Doon. This fire is out of control. How the hell do you pack up 9 chickens??
